GDT AT is responsible for driving & executing bank’s data strategy sepecificly related with  Analytics  by providing best-in-class products and  solutions in data area. The team focus on providing core data & analytics capabilities that commonly required by multiple GBs and/or GFs, and operate the share data platforms / products / services for the bank.

The Opportunity: 

HSBC, a leading international bank with a multi-region presence, is seeking a senior software engineer for delivery data products. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, has a learning mindset of keep exploring new technology to delivery value with software products functionalities. Strict adherence to company policies and security processes is essential.

What you’ll do:

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data products
• Ensure software products are delivered on time and within budget
• Continuously improve software development processes and tools
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the data analytics space
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on data products
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java
• Experience working with big data technologies on cloud platform(GCP, Azure, Alibaba)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Workable English for collobarete with team members abroad
