The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced AS400 talent to join our team and focus on the development, maintenance, and optimization of our credit card core business systems. This is a key role where you will work on mission-critical systems and contribute to the success of our business operations.
What you’ll do:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize credit card core systems on the AS400 platform.
- Analyze business requirements and design efficient, reliable technical solutions.
- Participate in system architecture design to ensure scalability and stability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in system operations, providing timely support.
- Collaborate closely with business teams to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure code quality and adherence to development standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AS400 platform technologies, including RPG, CL, and DB2.
- Strong understanding of credit card core business processes and their technical implementation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve system issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and business teams.
A proactive attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work well in a team environment.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Familiarity with financial industry compliance requirements and data security standards.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to independently lead technical projects.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
