The Opportunity:
Responsible for global liquidity projects delivery to meet the business requirement within the agreed schedules.
Support the system design, development, SIT, UAT, implementation and post-release activities with clear documentation supplemented.
Provide the application support to production and work with business users and the operation teams on the query in the production application.
Work closely with Regional / Global project teams and users to provide appropriate IT solutions.
Establish a good relationship and work collaboratively with other application teams and support teams.
Ensure strict adherence to group policy, group compliance of all internal controls and external regulations.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for projects delivery to meet the business requirement within the agreed schedules.
Complete the requirement analysis, system design, development, SIT, UAT, implementation and post-release activities with clear documentation supplemented and on time.
Lead the technical team to complete the project tasks within the agreed schedules.
Take up the tech lead role in the team and complete the projects independently.
Work closely with Regional / Global project teams and users to provide appropriate IT solutions.
Provide the application support to production and work with business users and the operation teams on the query in the production application.
Establish a good relationship and work collaboratively with other application teams and support teams.
Ensure strict adherence to group policy, group compliance of all internal controls and external regulations.
Provide level 1/2 support to the production services. (e.g. Incident/release management, request fulfilment)
Monitor the healthiness of Production systems and recover the systems as quickly as possible when incidents occur.
Analyse and trouble-shoot all kind of Production system issues.
Participate in system releases and post-release incident management and reporting.
Analyse and resolve issues/requests from business users and operation teams.
Communicate with business users, operation teams and production support managers to report system status.
Document support procedures and system knowledge for knowledge management in a global scale.
Guide the teammates for the technical knowledge and domain knowledge.
University-level degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field. Qualification in related business discipline is an advantage
3+ years software development work experience, self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven fast learner.
Fluent in English, good communication and writing skills for direct interaction with globally spread businesses and IT stakeholders
Strong communication skills and documentation skills
Mainframe knowledge (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, TWS, CICS, Assembler, etc)
UNIX, Shell scripting, SQL, Stored Procedures, Splunk, Control-M, Docker, Kubernetes, PostGres, API, Jenkins, CI/CD auto deployment, microservice, JIRA, cloud basic knowledge, DevOps knowledge.
App D, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Redis, WebSphere, Oracle knowledge is a plus
Willing to take shift work & production support task at weekdays and weekends is a plus
ITIL knowledge/certification is not essential but desirable
Ability to work under stress and deliver in a responsive manner
Good communication skills - English (verbal, written).
Ability to explain complex ideas
Ability to work as part of a team
Willingness to adapt and learn new things
Good sense of humour
