We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President Global Trade Solution Services. This is a senior role within HBID GTS and report directly to Head of GTS Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs, manages and controls all aspects of trade operation in Jakarta and Branches ensuring that HBID GTS consistently provides efficient and excellent customer service with minimal operational risk whilst supporting business to achieve maximum profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant external regulations and internal procedures/guidelines and duly protect the Bank’s interest and reputation.
  • The responsibility also includes hiring, developing and retaining resources required to do the function effectively.
  • HBID GTS transactions include Trade Loans, Documentary Credits, Guarantees, Structured Trade Finance (STF), Forfaiting, Supply Chain Solutions, Receivables Finance and others various trade product.
  • Safeguard and grow market share of trade services business in the division.
  • Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and solutions to meet needs of increasingly demanding customers
  • Achieve high productivity and efficiency by on-going review of procedures and effective management of resources
  • Motivate and manage a team of people with increasing focus on service and sales and collaboration with customer groups
  • Ensure the new technologies, products and services are introduced and integrated into the operation and business


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a minimum bachelor’s degree from reputable university with minimum 10 years of trade experience at a managerial level
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of all Trade Finance products and propositions
  • Thorough appreciation and understanding of FCC risks and controls applicable to Trade Finance
  • Good understanding of Customer Groups and supporting business initiatives
  • Good understanding of Operations Risk related to underlying Trade Transactions
  • Able to work under pressure to meet deadline and workload, while maintaining good quality output.
  • Understanding and able to manage internal control, risk management (operations), and quality audit parameters
  • Possess good analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Can work independently and quickly, with good attention to detail and solutions oriented
  • Possess good written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Demonstrate high degree of integrity.
