The Opportunity: 
Financial Planning and Investment SVS is under iWPB_GPB & Wealth department, it's part of Investment Solutions Domain. We are looking for collaborative thinkers and dreamers who are proactively looking for innovative ways to improve the service delivered to customers. As a Software Engineering Team Leader (ITSO lead), you will work with ASP markets' (INM, MYH, IMO, PHL, TWN and AUS) Product Owners and DevOps teams, and responsible for the delivery, on-going success & continuous improvement of a discrete set of products or business services. 
What you’ll do:                                        
• Work with the product owners to ensure that work is de-constructed and translated into development activities across teams.
• Review requirements from a testability perspective and formulate the non-functional testing strategy.
• Accountable for the creation and management of epics, backlog management and prioritisation across teams and for conformance to the IT operating model with regards to Agile and Technology Practices.
• Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by Teams adhere to the relevant Service Management Standards, and high data quality exists in Service Management systems of record.
• Work with product owners & team to ensure that the lead time to deploy changes is continuously improving and benchmarks appropriately across other functions within the DevOps team.
• Work with product owners & team to ensure that high levels of automation are implemented and maintained across the teams.
• Work with product owners & team to ensure that service levels are maintained and improved.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:                                            
• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering role (both frontend (i.e. React) and backend (Java, spring boot) tech skills) and 2+ years of relevant product/project management.
• Knowledge about scrum values & Agile ceremonies.
• Good prioritisation, negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile frameworks and methods, like SAFe.
• Proficient in agile project management tools: jira and confluence.
• Experience being an agile lead.                                            
 

What additional skills will be good to have?                                            
• Strong work ethic and team player experienced working with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Real passion for elegance and efficiency in software engineering and always strive for continuous improvements via automated processes.
• Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills.
• Good track record of delivering change on architecting, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade technical solutions, preferably in a financial institution.
