The Opportunity:

The Risk and Control Lead is responsible for the risk and control activities of the Group AI Platform to ensure we operate fully in compliant with relevant governance and control, with risks and issues identified, mitigated and managed.

What you’ll do:

• Management and Reporting: Run regular forum and publish regular reporting on risk and control such that focusing areas can be highlighted and actioned on timely and run regular forums.  
• Risk Identification and Management: Lead and manage regular review of risk and issue identification, establish remediation plan, register with relevant registry (e.g. HELIOS, MSII) to ensure risks are timely reflected and managed with issues and action plan raised.
• Remediation: Drive the remediation activities of various controls (e.g. vulnerability patching, resilience drill, etc) with engineering teams.
• Community of practice: Setup risk and control community with engineering teams to share best practices on control and facilitate timely identification and remediation of risks and issues.
• Risk and Control Champion: Be the point of contact on behalf of Group AI Platform with relevant governance and control organisations and drive through all preventive and remedial actions as required. 

• Bachelor / Maste degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.
• Solid experience in technology risk, operational risk or compliance with exposure to AI/ML systems, cloud infrastructure, or AI platforms.
• Deep understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks including control testing, KCI monitoring, issue management and regulatory compliance.
• Experience leading and implementing technology controls across software development, infrastructure, data management and AI/ML lifecycles
• Familiar with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated control domains including but not limited to access management, logging, third-party risks, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional reviews collaborating with engineering and businesses
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
• Strong communication and influence skills, capable of translating technical risks into business impact and driving risk culture within the platform team.
