The Opportunity:

  • Strategic Business Change Analyst plays the change role, with guidance, to orchestrate change activities for a variety of change initiatives for the wholesale banking business, ranging from Technology change or automation through technology, Operating model change, third party platforms deployment etc. The role is at the core of Business Change (Digital Delivery) function. Strategic Business Change Analyst plays a pivotal role supporting the Strategic Business Change Manager and enables progress of the change initiative through the change lifecycle, in conformance to the Change Framework and governance mechanisms in place.
  • The Strategic Business Change Analyst is responsible for producing the deliverables, carrying out activities and tasks necessary to smoothly and successfully implement the change.
  • The role requires a blend of basic skills in one or more of the skills relating to project management, Business Analysis, Change and Implementation management.

What you’ll do:

  • Gathers and details business requirements, supporting prioritization and traceability.
  • Work with the Business SMEs to understand the business problem provided in the business requirements and definition of expected outcomes produce key deliverables (documentation and carry out the key tasks as per the project plan to support the delivery
  • Develop actionable roadmaps for improving workflows, processes, and controls in line with global directives.
  • Support design & development, testing and UAT – acts as an owner of the requirements within the project team.
  • Define the impacts of proposed change in terms of process, people and technology impacts to the business operating model, articulate the impacts to stakeholders and help plan the activity to be ready to change.
  • Operate within a peer review environment to ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Understand stakeholder needs and communicate to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
  • Working in a complex business environment currently undergoing significant change

Leadership & Teamwork 

  • Manage and implement change activities for the Program to support the Change Lead and ensure its successful implementation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships and open channels of communication.
  • Work closely with Strategic Business Change Manager to regularly review effectiveness of change plans and adapt as required to optimize outcomes

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • 5+ years of overall experience
  • Produce structured BRDs, finalize User Story, and write functional specification.
  • Proven delivery experience working in a global project environment with different methodologies (including Agile/Waterfall)
  • Experience in designing solutions, driving change interventions, and conducting change management activities which can include diverse tasks, from timeline planning to stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in UAT planning, preparation, and execution, UAT coordination and facilitation to Business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to run effective workshops for client business users.
  • Ability to advise stakeholders regarding process improvement initiatives. Ability to present complex solutions in clear and concise language.
  • Strong aptitude with Data Analysis and Interpretation skills - the ability to critically evaluate information gathered across multiple sources, using multiple analysis techniques, reconcile variances and recommend proposals to senior and key stakeholders
