The Traded Risk Stress Testing Manager will play a pivotal role as part of the Traded Risk function with a key focus on FRTB. The successful candidate will provide guidance and input into the shape of the future infrastructure for FRTB and will strive to work closely with the wider function to ensure this is successfully implemented.

In this role you will:

• Successfully provide guidance on the implementation of FRTB from a Traded Risk perspective.
• Be proactive in ensuring operational readiness by updating reports and MI. 
• Establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business and will be successful in communicating and influencing.
• Work closely with other functions to establish control and governance best practices and accountability for the regulatory capital process.
• Confidently sense test metrics in relation to FRTB to ensure these are effectively managed. 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience in Traded Risk Stress Testing is essential. 
• Must have prior experience liaising or attaining buy-in from stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of key market, capital and liquidity risk drivers.
• Must have knowledge on the current Traded Risk infrastructure at HSBC.
• Experience of working across all levels of the organization to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of risk at both a strategic level and at the business unit level. 


This role is based in London / Hybrid.
