From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Team Leader, Portfolio Management.

Principal Responsibilities

• Contribute to the growth of Hong Kong Business Banking’s Portfolio Managed segment through driving sustainable revenue while ensuring full compliance with Global Standard requirement
• Manage and motivate the Business Centre frontline in New to Bank acquisition by implementing a balanced and selective New Customer Acquisition strategy and a sustainable Referral Partners Strategy
• Implement sales plan and contribute to various service and operational initiatives of the Portfolio Managed segment
• Collect customer feedback and communicate the same to relevant product and functional areas (Certificate of Deposit, Services Delivery, Marketing, Payments and Cash Management, Insurance and Investment Sales, Lending, Global Market, Global trade and Receivables Finance) for continuous improvement of Business Banking products and services
• Ensure consistent delivery of the best-in-class service in the Business Centres
• Develop subordinates through guidance and coaching, motivating them to seek continuous learning and personal growth. Cultivate the HSBC Values and compliance mindset
• Oversee the daily operations of the Business Centres and drive improvement in the end-to-end process in customer service delivery
• Work closely relationship management teams to ensure continuous flow of valued customer for up-selling to the Relationship Managed segment

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, related field or equivalent experience
• Extensive years of banking experience with sound knowledge of Commercial Banking products, services and procedures preferable with exposure in Commercial Banking operations or customer service delivery
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage subordinates for achieving sustainable Non-Relationship Managed segment growth
• Strong operational knowledge in operational/fraud risk prevention and Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing (Financial Institutions) Ordinance or Customer Due Diligence
• Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Attention to details as well as creativity to assist in growing Business Banking revenue
• Insurance and Investment licenses are required
