 In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for infrastructure provisioning, Configuration management and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on business needs.
• Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of automation tools and technologies.
• Establish best practices and standards for infrastructure automation, ensuring consistency and scalability across the organization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for automation workflows, procedures, and configurations.
• Monitor and optimize automated processes to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on automation techniques and best practices.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in infrastructure automation.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 15+ years of experience in infrastructure management, DevOps, or related roles 
• Solid experience in infrastructure technologies, UNIX/LINUX, Database, Middleware products e.g., MQ, WAS, HIS…etc. 
• Proven track record of designing and implementing automation solutions in production environment.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Puppet.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bas, PowerShell) for automation and orchestration tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) and cloud automation tools.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications - HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Certified Professional in Python Programming and Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation…etc
