From expanding overseas to managing the cash and trade flows of an established enterprise, the Business Banking team of Relationship Managers and Product Specialists provides a range of end-to-end solutions designed to help small and large businesses reach their potential.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Customers Acquisition.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Vice President Business Centre to achieve the aspirations of Business Banking Portfolio Management, contribute to the sustainable revenue growth and delivery of best-in-class service, in full compliance with regulatory requirement and the Bank’s standards
  • Proactively acquire quality new customers in strategic focus sectors to maximize the New Customer Acquisition value and revenue contribution to the Bank
  • Solicit new strategic ecosystem partners and Corporate Service Providers in alignment with the Bank’s appetite to drive customer acquisition and achieve net customer growth targets
  • Attentively manage key ecosystem partners and Corporate Service Providers with the best-in-class service and maximize wallet share of customer referral for the Bank
  • Maximize customer value/revenue, products penetration and multi-buy rate after onboarding a new customer, with performance to be measured within the first 18 months of onboarding, and ensure the right channels/parties to satisfy the customers’ banking needs
  • Provide the best-in-class customer service with high NPS score and fast turnaround time of account opening
  • Reasonably control the New Customer Acquisition financial crime risk with minimal Suspicious Transaction Report and Customer Selection & Exit Management after onboarding
  • Be the Financial Crime Risk owner of the onboarded relationships and empowered to self-approve medium/low risk cases, within the Bank’s guided Financial Crime Risk framework which evolve from time to time
  • Assist Senior Vice President Business Centre to provide coaching to new joiners and junior acquisition staff in order to uplift the portfolio revenue in the Business Centre
Requirements
  • University graduate with solid knowledge in commercial banking and its products
  • Advanced banking experience, preferably with past working experience in similar role
  • Proven track record in customer acquisition and revenue generation
  • Be committed, self-motivated with positive attitude
  • Attentive to details and able to solve problems independently
  • Has well-developed communication, interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills 
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua), in both speaking and writing
