We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President II, Portfolio Management.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Contribute to the growth of Hong Kong Business Banking’s Portfolio Managed segment through driving sustainable revenue while ensuring full compliance with Global Standard requirement
  • Implement and execute a balanced and selective New Customer Acquisition strategy and a sustainable Referral Partners Strategy 
  • Implement sales plan and contribute to various service and operational initiatives of the Portfolio Managed segment
  • Provide post account onboarding support and services to customer in driving early account activation and utilization to drive business growth and New Customer Acquisition revenue maximization
  • Collect customer feedback and communicate the same to relevant product and functional areas (Digital, Proposition Team, Marketing, Global Payment Solutions, Insurance and Investment Sales, Lending, Global Market, Global Trade Solutions) for continuous improvement of Business Banking products and services
  • Work closely with relationship management teams to ensure continuous flow of valued customer for up-selling to the Relationship Managed segment
  • Assist SVP Centre to provide coaching to new joiners and junior acquisition staff in order to uplift the portfolio revenue in the Business Centre 
Requirements

To be successful you will:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive years of banking experience with sound knowledge of Commercial Banking products, services and procedures preferable with exposure in Commercial Banking operations or customer service delivery 
  • Strong operational knowledge in operational/fraud risk prevention and Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing (Financial Institutions) Ordinance or Customer Due Diligence 
  • Good interpersonal, communication and influencing skills 
  • Attention to details as well as creativity to assist in growing Business Banking revenue
  • Insurance and Investment licenses are required
