We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Vice President Payments Operations and Delivery Lead.
Role Purpose:
Role holder is responsible in leading, managing, and transforming payment’s processing and operations functions (including oversight of GSC support team/s) to deliver high-quality, efficient, and risk-compliant services. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of payments & remittances, drives continuous improvement and automation, and aligns operations with strategic and regulatory objectives.
Principal Accountabilities:
Operational Leadership & Delivery
- Oversee end-to-end payments operations, including domestic, cross-border, remittances, correspondent banking, inward and outward payments.
- Ensure day-to-day operational activities meet defined service level agreements (SLAs), quality, accuracy, and cost targets.
- Monitor and report operational performance metrics; track key process performance indicators (e.g., accuracy, TAT, exceptions, error rates).
Transformation
- Define and drive the transformation roadmap for payment operations, including automation, digitization, and platform modernization.
- Securing of necessary budget through coordination with relevant regional (ASP) stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of projects
- Identify process improvement opportunities (lean process design, robotic process automation, straight-through processing) to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Risk and Compliance
- Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring compliance to regulations and internal policies
- Manage operational risks, including identifying and mitigating control failures, ensuring audit findings are addressed, overseeing business continuity, disaster recovery plans.

- Foster a culture of teamwork and develop succession planning
- Continuously recognize good performance and assist staff to achieve improvement plans where necessary
Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- Degree holder
- Excellent management skills
- Can work and deliver under pressure with minimal supervision required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledgeable of using project management tools and techniques n improving processes
- Ove average interpersonal skills; can work, influence with business and stakeholders
- Driven, results-oriented, and has good analytical thinking
