We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Application Development and Management Manager.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Ensure the most cost-effective IT project propositions are presented to the business, enabling the business to take informed decisions on solutions meeting their requirements.
  • Resolve system issues by working closely with software engineering and IT teams to prevent business impacts and provide effective problem management to prevent issue reoccurrence.
  • Co-coordinate the availability of test systems, defining test strategy, plans and scripts for integration testing of systems including the first line support for test defects.
  • Disciplined approach to requirements analysis with excellent knowledge of structured analytical techniques including group standards to document functional & non-functional requirements.
  • Provide support and consultancy services to Business Product Managers covering pre-sales consultancy, new proposition definition, and assessing viability of new requests through providing options for medium or large-scale propositions.
  • Ensure highest quality for all delivered projects to protect against major issues causing impacts after system deployments meaning zero business operation/risk impacts.
  • Seek opportunities to make the business processes more effective and efficient across business lines and regions.
  • Proven subject matter expert to provide AS400 based application solutions specially in Payments and regulatory reporting applications.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AS400 /iSeries/RPG.
  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of Banking industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a public/private university or equivalent qualification, preferably with an IT background.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting and payment application development.
  • Experience in working with real time platforms and Banking application preferred.
  • Experience and understanding of SDLC and Agile Development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and cooperative whilst in pressurized situations
  • Excellent understanding of how technology adds value to the business proposition and ultimately the end customer, both internal and external
