We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President Advisory Specialist
Business: Wealth & Personal Banking
Principal responsibilities
Interface closely with Blackrock and internal Information Technology team to develop or enhance Advisory features HSBC is utilizing. Collaborate with various Intel Wealth Premier product teams to incorporate the relevant investment content into the Advisory process.
Provide domain expertise to resolve Operational issues from booking centres related to Global Advisory. Manage the quality of advice and the model methodology within the Advisory architecture framework. Resolve advisory topics related to portfolio analytics escalated by the front office.
Liaise with other local platform teams to enhance the User Interface/User Experience for the advisory client journey.
Perform critical data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and stability of outputs from key platforms like Aladdin, Avaloq & Qliksense.
Collaborate with global & regional Advisory team on sales enablement topics and solve topics related to portfolio construction and investment content.
Manage risk governance by maintaining Target Operating Manuals and relevant process documents for audit purposes.
Monitor and administer shared workspace/mailbox to track and address Advisory related queries.
Develop Product Management domain knowledge and effectively manage governance forums like topic specific workstream meetings to commercialize Prism features.
Design Management Information dashboards and liaise with data providers in the bank for streamline process.
Degree in finance/business and with other professional accreditations such as Chartered Financial Analyst
8-10 years of experience in Financial services industry specifically within Private Banking and Wealth Management or Asset Management
Strong understanding of asset allocation and portfolio construction
Strong knowledge across asset classes (traditional and alternatives) and product types (Funds & Structured Products)
Has previously been actively involved in building advisory propositions and platforms
Knowledge with platforms and systems such as Aladdin, Qlik-Sense and Avaloq. Working knowledge of programming languages like Python
Effective with stakeholder management and able to work with teams across locations
Ability to be act as subject matter expert and tap on the extended Advisory ecosystem for additional feedback and inputs
Strong communication skills required to guide end users in the front office when they have queries on Product Management (Sales enablement and Portfolio Analytics)
