The Continental Europe Agency Securities Lending & Liquidity services team part of Securities Services acts as a central actor in the provision of financing and liquidity solutions to the client base in an agency mode.

What you will do: 

The purpose of the role is to develop, promote and sell Agency Cash Deployment Solutions (primarily Agency Reverse Repos) to our Continental European client base. The jobholder will work in close collaboration with Sales teams, regional trading teams, client management teams, product management and support functions (compliance, legal, Non financial Risk…). 

In this role you will:

  • Identify prospects and support client engagement in selling the Agency REPOs solution with the Securities Services Sales teams, the global Markets Sales teams and relationship bankers
  • Engage in technical sales discussion with corporate and institutional clients by providing solutions to deploy their cash balances with the Agency Reverse Purchase Agreement (REPOs)  
  • Provide technical expertise and product knowledge on Agency Lending & REPO products
  • Contribute to build the Agency Repo Operating Model for Continental Europe Clients
  • Represent HSBC Agency Securities Lending & Liquidity services team in client industry seminars, conferences and events
  • Provide training to client development teams and actively promoting Securities Services Agency Lending capabilities internally and externally
Requisitos

You should apply if you have:

  • You have a first experience in Market activities, specifically on Securities Lending and or REPO products
  • You have a good understanding on acting as an agent versus as principal on Markets activities
  • You have already worked or led Product/Project Management initiatives in finance activities.
  • You have experience in engaging with Institutional or Corporate clients on Global Markets or banking activities
  • You are fluent in French and English
