We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Alternatives Investor Relations Specialist.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

HSBC Alternatives Investments offer investment strategies in Fund of Hedge Funds, Institutional Hedge Fund of Fund mandates, Real Estate, Indirect Private Equity, Infrastructure Debt, Private Debt and Venture Capital.  We’re seeking an Investor Relations Specialist to join our team, with a primary focus on Private Credit strategies. This individual will play a key role in managing investor communications and building and maintaining strong relationships with both clients and investment teams.

  • Work on client communication and reporting; serve as a primary point of contact for existing investors across the region, with a focus on private credit strategies
  • Prepare and distribute investor communications, respond to investor inquiries and where appropriate, present to clients on performance and market outlook
  • Monitor fund performance metrics and help to prepare regular or ad-hoc client reports
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as investment, operations, performance reporting teams, to ensure data integrity and consistent messaging
  • Act as intermediary between client and third-party administrators 
  • Support product development and other business initiatives
  • Implementing growth and efficiency initiatives to maintain a high-quality service offering
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field
  • Solid experience in investor relations, client services, or fundraising within alternatives – private credit experience is essential
  • Good understanding of private credit structures (i.e. direct lending, mezzanine, opportunistic credit, CLOs)
  • Proactive in understanding clients’ needs and following up with relevant teams for information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teams from different time zones
  • Proficiency in Asian languages (i.e. Mandarin, Cantonese) preferred
