As an Analyst, the role holder will have the opportunity to strengthen their fundamentals of Banking including relationship management, sales and solutions, credit analysis and customer due diligence.

The candidate will have full exposure to the broad range of HSBC products offering and will support senior bankers in the origination and execution of Debt Capital Markets transactions, acquisition financing, cash management, trade finance, custody, structured finance, global markets across asset classes (FX, Rates, Credit, Equities and Derivatives), asset management. The client base will be primarily Italian and Greek Institutional Clients (Financial Institutions, Insurers, Asset Owners and Public Sector) working with HSBC both in Italy and across our extensive international network.

• Assist senior bankers in covering institutional clients such as asset managers, insurance companies, banks, sovereign entities, and financial sponsors.

• Produce pitch books, client updates, market overviews, relationship reviews, and materials for senior client meetings across financing, markets, and advisory products.

• Track client revenues, wallet share, transaction pipelines, financing needs, and broader business opportunities across the Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) platform.

• Work closely with Product teams to support origination and delivery of solutions to clients.

• Analyze sector trends, market conditions, funding environments, balance sheet developments, and key risks impacting institutional clients.

• Help coordinate internal approvals, KYC/compliance requirements, due diligence requests, and transaction workflows.

• Update CRM systems, prepare management reporting, maintain organizational maps, and monitor strategic developments relevant to covered clients.

• Solid understanding of financial markets, capital markets products, and corporate banking products, with the ability to analyze Financial Institution's financial statements and client performance metrics.

• Demonstrated interest in Corporate & Investment Banking and institutional client coverage, including knowledge of banks, asset managers, insurers, and broader financial institutions.

• Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills

• Good Organizational and Multitasking Abilities

• Stakeholder Management skills and are a team worker

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills

• Solid background in Finance, Economics, Business, or related disciplines, with fluency in English and an international, client-oriented approach
