We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Business Manager II.

Business: GPS Technology

Principal responsibilities
• Drive the development and delivery of financial analysis, modelling and reporting to support business results tracking and decision-making
• Provide Client Connectivy management with transparent business performance forecasts, analysis and performance insights on a timely basis to support business decision making
• Ensuring that the Resources Planning and forecast processes are delivered timely with accuracy
• Help drive delivery of organisational objectives, including sustainable resource planning and financial planning
• Willingness to challenge existing procedures and drive changes where required
• The role will be dynamic and will require the candidate to be able to handle multiple, evolving tasks as required
• The role holder will be expected to drive projects through to completion, working through complex issues with minimal supervision
• The role requires strong drive and the ability to influence others throughout the department
• Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues
• The role requires the ability to work independently but is a key component of the broader performance management team. It is expected to drive clarity and understanding around the performance of initiatives and future performance impacts

Requisitos

• University degree or equivalent qualification
• Significant experience across planning and analysis functions
• Good financial services knowledge preferred, especially in banking
• Must have demonstrated prior experience of working with senior management
• Good presentation and communication skills in both verbal and written
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast changing, results driven environment
• Team player due to inherent dependency upon other areas of Wholesale IT and wider Finance
• Time management and to ensure that all deadlines are met on time without sacrificing quality
