In this role you will:
• Provide risk stewardship services to business and product partners to ensure clear understanding of compliance risk exposure with respect to clients, transactions and products
• Partner with compliance leadership, whilst supporting policy implementation arising out of changes in Compliance globally
• Proactively communicate and support the development and implementation of local policies and frameworks to manage the changes across the group
• Demonstrate effective risk stewardship by acting as an independent and trusted advisor in governance forums, issue management, and optimising relations with risk and control owners
• Support the Compliance Managers in ensuring alignment with all relevant external laws and regulations, internal codes and policies, and good market practices
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
• Knowledge of Financial Crime and Regulatory compliance within financial institutions
• Knowledge of operational risk management with experience in risk and control assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and multitask, with sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities
