We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President – Business Consulting - Wholesale

Principal Responsibilities

  • Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
  • Adhere to and be able to demonstrate adherence to internal controls. This will be achieved by adherence to all relevant procedures, keeping appropriate records and, where appropriate, by the timely implementation of internal and external audit points, including issues raised by external regulators.
  • Implement the Group compliance policy by containing compliance risk in liaison with Global Head of Compliance, Global Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer, or Local Compliance Officer. The term ‘compliance’ embraces all relevant financial services laws, rules, and codes with which the business must comply.
  • Adhering to all relevant processes/procedures and by liaising with Compliance department about new business initiatives at the earliest opportunity. Also, and when applicable, by ensuring adequate resources are in place and training is provided, fostering a compliance culture and optimising relations with regulators.
  • Working closely with data, analytics and technology teams across the business, shape solution designs which meets business needs as well as aligning to the broader strategic Delivery Management principles.
  • Work directly with various stakeholders across multiple geographies, such as technical discipline leads, data scientists, data engineers and data analysts to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis to successful delivery.
  • Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed closely, and remove project blockers from the team.
  • Provide analytical support to Delivery programs covering Operational Insights, Risks mitigation, Cost management techniques etc.
  • Act as Scrum Master to servant-lead teams to deliver business use cases on a global scale and deploying locally.
  • Bring in proficiency in project management software/tools and drive adoption of the delivery framework
Requisitos
  • 6+ years of hands-on analytics experience solving complex business problems using data driven decisions.
  • A degree in MBA with bachelor’s in engineering / master’s degree in economics, Mathematics, Statistics or other numerical discipline, equivalent with relevant work experience in Data related technologies
  • Strong analytical skills with business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial-services/ banking-operations preferred.
  • Relevant Agile Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Large Scale Scrum (LeSS), Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) is preferred.
  • Proven experience working in a project management or coordination role is a plus.
  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct in depth reviews and analyzing data from processes to deliver observations, detail changes and identify the root cause.
  • Strong programming skills and sound knowledge of Python, Structured Query Language (SQL) or other equivalent analytical tools is required. Knowledge of Qlik Sense will be preferred.
  • Experience of big data and/or cloud programs is a plus.
  • Influential individual capable of bringing together disparate and virtual teams to align on a common goal.
