We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Investment Specialist. 

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Client Advisory & Relationship Management: Advise Premier clients on investment needs, goals, and risk tolerance; build trusted relationships, collaborating with Relationship Managers
  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Design and optimize Premier client portfolios, focusing on strategic asset allocation using structured products, mutual funds, and bonds
  • Market & Investment Research: Translate CIO view into actionable investment insights for client portfolios
  • Product Expertise & Due Diligence: Evaluate and recommend suitable investment solutions, specializing in structured products, mutual funds, and bonds, based on rigorous due diligence
  • Wealth Lending Advisory: Advise clients on wealth lending solutions (e.g., Lombard lending) to complement their investment strategies
  • RM Coaching & Knowledge Transfer: Coach Relationship Managers to enhance their investment acumen and ability to articulate solutions to clients
  • Portfolio Monitoring & Reviews: Continuously monitor client portfolio performance, conduct proactive reviews, and recommend adjustments for clients
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements (MAS) and internal policies, managing risks and ensuring fair client dealings
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field from a reputable university
  • CMFAS (Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services Examination) Modules: Essential for licensing in Singapore (e.g RES1B, RES5, CM-EIP, CM-SIP, M8, M8A)
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance) is preferred. Other relevant certifications like CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) may also be beneficial
  • Advanced relevant experience in an investment advisory, portfolio management, or product specialist role within a private bank, wealth management firm, or asset management company
  • Proven track record of advising and managing portfolios for High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients in Singapore or the Asia-Pacific region
  • Strong background and demonstrable expertise in structured products, mutual funds (unit trusts), and fixed income (bonds). Experience with other asset classes and wealth lending solutions is a significant advantage

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
