We are a product agnostic group in charge of managing the relationship with our clients, understanding their needs, their industry trends and ensuring HSBC supports them in achieving their financial objectives. The ICG team covers a wide array of institutional clients including Banks, Insurers, Sponsors, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Managers, Hedge funds and Public Sector

Role Description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified individual to join the Institutional Client Group (ICG) Team in our Taiwan office. As a member of the team, the successful candidate will support the wider Institutional Client franchise. The role is responsible for leading, acquiring and growing profitable long-term relationship with priority HSBC Institutional Clients of Taiwan. The successful candidate will need to establish a holistic understanding of the business environment, industry sectors, clients’ needs, products and solutions and engage with senior decision makers within the client organization.

- The individual will be supporting to drive the growth strategy of the business and managing risk on the portfolio. Main responsibilities include:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client base
- Liaise with regional counterparts acting as central point of contact for local matters.
- Contribute to the compilation and implementation of individual client plans to enhance regional and local returns. Contribute to the revenue growth in the portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product partners, coordinate origination and execution of activities across the spectrum of all banking products/services.
- Grow HSBC's share of client wallet and ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements, drive achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost management.
- Undertake the preparation of relevant analysis, proposals, credit applications and reviews as required; understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal & external rules, regulations & procedures.
- Act as the First Line of Defence to protect HSBC against Financial Crime and to ensure credit risk arising
Postulación
- Bachelor’s degree or above with fluent in written and spoken English
- Relevant year of Relationship Management or front line experience in Markets Sales (with preference in managing multinational financial institutions and life insurance companies), Markets, Sectors coverage
- Knowledge of industry and exposure to Taiwan financial industry, local & global institutional client market & regulatory environment
- Preferably knowledge of HSBC Group and products coupled with a strong network of contacts across business areas
- Excellent team player with a proactive approach, strong interpersonal, sales and communication skills, strong leadership and matrix management skills
- Highly motivated, eager to accept new challenges and able to work under pressure and deliver results
- The ability to form effective relationships and exercise influence at the most senior level of the organization, both internally and externally
- Uphold the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for all HSBC values and business principles
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and perform to the highest standards and strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation and Client Due Diligence risks
- With planning, time management and resource management skills to manage multiple tasks to challenging deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
