We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Delivery Management
In this role you will
Contribute to the shaping of the Risk & Control book of work, across Operational, Vendor and Key Delivery Risks, with a focus of open and upcoming GRAS items and with a focus on GCIO metrics and strategy
Ability to recognize and highlight risks across the Technology Value Stream portfolio
Ensure that senior management is kept up to date with all progress, challenges, issues and ongoing work in the Risk and Control space
Provide support and guidance to IWPB Technology Value Stream Leadership and provide a channel for sharing information and prioritisation of work
Build and maintain relationships within IWPB Technology, CCO, Cyber, CTO etc to cultivate program support and awareness
Build and maintain relationships with senior management to ensure they are fully briefely
Establish the Technology Risk Control Book for one or more Technology Value Streams and manage it’s coordination, delivery and reporting
Build appropriate MI and communications channels to support the delivery of this book of work
Challenge, where necessary, work requirements where they are either unfit for purpose or are not being approached in a manner that is beneficial to the business
Ability to communicate and input into various Risk forums and ability to co-ordinate and input into Helios items
Requisitos
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, especially with senior stakeholders in Business & IT, and ability to build strong relationships
- Be open to new Ways of Working
- Have experience of managing multi-disciplined, multi-location teams to timelines
- Be able to work in an unstructured and changing environment and be able to manage changing priorities and to pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise
- Be self-sufficient, demonstrate initiative, and be open to learn new practices, techniques and tools
- Have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence others positively
- Be a strong team player engaging and encouraging others with forward thinking approach
- Be open to different cultures, opinions and working practices
- Exhibit a high level of commitment and self-motivation, together with an ability to deal with stressful environments
- Be passionate about delivering value to customer
- Have good knowledge of fire drill management
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be open and able to mentoring and supporting colleagues
- Be familiar with IWPB technologies and Vendor managements and risks
