We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Request for Proposal Specialist.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Work with the RFP (Request for Proposal) Team leads and complete RFPs, RFIs (Request for Information) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) for Institutional and Wholesale clients and consultants globally and encompassing a wide and diverse range of asset classes, investment strategies and funds
  • Contribute to business growth through high quality and timely submission of compelling, accurate and client-focused RFPs and RFIs
  • Support effective management of priorities and workload with colleagues across the business (specifically in Sales, Investment and Client Service) and with RFP Team colleagues globally
  • Ensure high quality and timely completion of consultant requests to support our Consultant Relations strategy as well as content management (including global and regional product and firm information)
  • Ensure compliance with global content management requirements; full use of global tools such as RFP content management tool (Loopio)
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the marketplace and related customer and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a strong understanding of HSBC’s capabilities and funds in this context
  • Develop an understanding of the need to adhere strictly to compliance, legal and regulatory procedures
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • University degree or equivalent qualification required, preferably with an investment or finance focus
  • Proven relevant experience in Asset Management (candidates with less experience will be considered for lower banding)
  • Detailed knowledge of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs and related client documents, including regulations, compliance requirements and delivery processes
  • Sound understanding of investment products and markets and client requirements
  • Good knowledge of performance systems, reporting systems, third party performance databases and institutional reporting standards (i.e. GIPS)
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills and, ideally, Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified Chinese)
