We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director Software Engineering Specialist.

 

Business: CIB - GPS Technology

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Work as a strategic partner with CIB business units to support new RTP/ACH opportunities
  • Responsible to identify solutions of domestic clearing center integration and drive the delivery.
  • Facilitate proof-of-concepts of translation and gateway solutions by vendors, regulatory bodies or in-house teams and the related result presentation to business.
  • Lead and guide the engineering teammates in implementing technical solutions that adhere to business requirements.
  • Considering risk implications in all decisions and activities through a good understanding of business activity, opportunities, and threats
  • Collaborate closely with other IT teams to ensure solutions are well integrated and aligned to the latest group standard architectural principles and guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of the latest market trend and technologies, sharing these effectively to project teams and key stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to grow the domestic and emerging payment for CIB business.

Requisitos
  • Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or related field.
  • Solid knowledge / technical background in API developing, cloud, micro-sevices/distributed computing, container.
  • Strong knowledge with Corporate Banking, Payment systems or clearing gateway would be a definite advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payment domain, with a deep understanding of real-time payment, ACH payment, along with their applications in the banking sector.
  • Solid experience in delivering of global systems and platforms. Proven track records for project delivery and support.
  • Solid experience in delivering payment projects/solutions would be a definite advantage.
  • Solid experience in delivering of global systems and platforms. Proven track records for project delivery and support.
  • Strong knowledge with payment, clearing and settlement in domestic and cross-border payments.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate and drive discussion across business functions and stakeholders.
  • Solid experience in people management and coaching
  • Maintain can-do attitude and stay positive towards challenges
  • Being open, dependable, connected and align the HSBC values
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to foster partnership among project participants and collaborate with them to ensure successful project delivery
