We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.
Business: Enterprise Technology L3
Principal responsibilities
- Manage risk and control frameworks for internal applications across various departments, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional application teams to develop OKRs that comply with group policies, and drive their achievement within specified timelines.
- Enhance the level of engineering excellence across projects through systematic oversight, process optimization, and best practice implementation.
- Lead the treasury function to establish itself as a "Pioneer of the Company," spearheading innovation and excellence in its domain.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of TRCB and GRASS metrics (as part of the matrix framework), and conduct data collection and analysis for relevant applications.
- Ensure all applications meet the TRCB criteria and strive to achieve compliance with GRASS metrics standards throughout the year.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in production support, risk & resilience control management
- Strong understanding of HSBC policy and worked on the Incident management and knows problem resolving process
- Experience as site resilience engineer
Risk & Control Policy Expertise: Solid understanding and hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and managing risk and control policies.
Relevant Experience:
- Familiarity with ISO standards is highly desirable.
- Proven project management experience, with a track record of overseeing project execution and delivery.
- Extensive experience in production support, including proficient management of change requests, incidents, and problem records.
KCI & Measurement Proficiency:
- Clear grasp of Key Control Indicators (KCI) and their corresponding measurement standards, with the ability to monitor and report on these metrics effectively.
Communication & Collaboration Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to collaborate across different application teams to support and drive the completion of control-related tasks.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Background in business operations or relevant industry knowledge.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
