We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.
Business: Asia Technology
- Lead the DevOps team at the ASP market tech center, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Ensure compliance with all standards and policies within the DevOps function of Technology Engineering.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in key areas, including database management, middleware, data processing, and data lifecycle management.
- Oversee the delivery and support of data-related infrastructure and architecture to optimize data storage, addressing both functional and non-functional requirements relevant to large applications.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of incidents related to databases and middleware, as directed by the leadership of the CTO DevOps team.
- Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data
- Build trusted relationships with the business and maintain a good appreciation of the business domain they work in.
- Communicate clearly, acting as liaison between engineering teams and senior management, translating technical details into business strategies.
- Develop business cases benefits of addressing technical debt / platform improvement.
- Promote continuous improvement for self and team.
