We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering. 

Business: WPB Regional Tech

Principal responsibilities

The job holder will have to perform the following duties in WPB STAFF CHANNELS & SELF SERVICE application:

  • Define and execute global technology product backlogs in alignment with leadership vision.
  • Work with product owners to create backlogs for new products and features.
  • Work with the business and stakeholders on a set of requirements and translate them into the backlog that scales globally.
  • Work with teams to ensure that product requirements are understood, backlog is well balanced to deliver good products without technical debt.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, product owners and other teams to shape technical requirements and roadmap that will enable new features or refine the existing ones.
  • Make creative recommendations following the most recent technology industry trends.
  • Work in an agile environment that iterates and releases quickly, be an advocate of a DevOps culture.
  • Establish Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery as the foundation for the successful technology product delivery that is global, scalable and of great performance.
  • Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
  • Working in a global team with different cultures. 
Requisitos
  • Strong analytic skills to understand and resolve complex problems.
  • Great experience in React, C#, Java Springboot development and API experience.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience on frontend development and Cloud enablement e.g. AWS.
  • Ability to learn, explore and implement new and emerging technologies in short period of time to fulfil business need.
  • Project management experience.
  • Strong business sense with understanding of the business requirement and environment.
  • Sound communication, presentation and influencing skills to work with business, IT colleagues, and external parties like vendors.
  • Able to work at flexible hour to work with colleagues in various time zones.
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
