We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate

Principal responsibilities

  • Support IB COO teams at a regional, product, sector and global level to improve the overall business by providing strategic insights using tools and data available.
  • Monitor IB business performance, including performance against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), intensity measures and missed/lost business process.
  • Ensure effective and globally consistent application of business selection processes, pipeline management and cross business collaborations.
  • Production of IB specific management information, working with Finance, leveraging globally consistent processes, metrics and data sources where available.
  • Develop and structure a central repository for receiving and storing MI from across the Investment Banking products, both quantitative & qualitative.
  • Support a number of workstreams related to transformation and strategic projects of importance to drive the IB business strategy.
  • Assist in the follow up and management of action points to ensure initiatives are clearly accounted for, priorities set & objectives met.
  • Develop, refine, and implement the strategic roadmap for IB, ensuring alignment with broader firm goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive dynamics to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with product teams, coverage groups, and other stakeholders to design and execute initiatives.
  • Monitor and report relevant developments relating to market dynamics, peers, benchmarks to help guide and further refine strategic execution within IB, providing ongoing feedback to the global strategy team.
Requisitos
  • 5-8+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similar strategy-focused role, preferably within financial services.
  • Proven track record of working on high-impact strategic initiatives and delivering measurable results.
  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Dynamic, results-oriented proactive individual who can leverage their network and relationship building skills to manage a multi-faceted role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting to senior leadership.
  • Excellent grasp of MS PowerPoint / Excel / Word and ability to distil large quantities of information into key themes / issues.
  • Follow up on recurring themes from the MI and identify solutions, which are followed through to conclusion.
  • Deep understanding of the Investment Banking business model, product offerings, and market dynamics.Proficiency in Financial modeling, forecasting, and performance tracking tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
