We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager

In this role, you will:

Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • The Lead Business Analyst's for role is to take complete ownership of the business requirements and accountability of the entire requirements gathering process for specified scope of the project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and business users, to elicit and document detailed requirements, scope, methodology and artifacts.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and propose enhancements to streamline workflows.
  • Work with Partner applications to define their scope for delivery.Solution Design:
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with standards.
  • Work closely with technical teams to design robust systems, considering scalability, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Encourage best practices in the development of solutions and ensure delivery of qualitative and cost-efficient system solutions for HSBC group.
Payment System Implementation:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of solutions, from concept to deployment.
  • Coordinate with development teams, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful integration and testing.
  • Work closely with the Testing teams and reviewing artifacts and assist in business in Postproduction verification.
  • Strong customer focus, business thinking and ability to play product owner role in the POD.
  • Ensure the functional information is appropriately conveyed to the IT as per project needs through training, workshop, walkthrough etc 
Risk Management and Compliance:
  • Assess risks associated with payment processes and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to payments.
  • Understand the position within the Three Lines of Defense, and act accordingly in line with operational risk policy, escalating in a timely manner where they are unsure of actions required.
Stakeholder:
  • Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, facilitating effective communication.
  • Provide regular status updates to project managers and senior leadership.
  • Required to co-ordinate with business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the life cycle of the projects ie. Support development team in design and development phases as well as responsible to provide solution to business problems / opportunities.
Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate payment processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements.
  • Champion automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Domain

  • At least 10-15 years of relevant IT experience, including exposure to business analysis and systems analysis.
  • Prior business analysis / consulting experience in banking, Payments or Channels domain is preferred.
  • Must have Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking.
  • Experience in XML, ISO 20022, SWIFT and other industry standard formats and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex requirements.

Agile

  • Prior experience in Agile methodology and tools.
  • Awareness of story slicing and experience in estimation techniques.

Good to have.

  • People Management experience.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is preferred.
  • Working experience in API’s
  • Proficiency in banking technology, including knowledge of payment gateways, APIs, and transaction processing.You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
