We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Business Strategy and Planning Head.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Responsible to lead the Insurance Business Strategy and Planning team in overseeing strategy execution of insurance business, monitoring business performance for all insurance business lines to sustain business growth and market leading position;
  • Monitoring the process of Financial Resources Planning (FRP), strategic projects and business forecast in collaboration with business and functional units to support business and profit growth;
  • Analyze future strategic initiative feasibility, including relevant business case preparation, competitor market analysis and multi-faceted evaluation;
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with other key stakeholders within Hang Seng Insurance, HASE WPB and strategic partners in the development and execution of business strategy;
  • Perform insurance strategic initiatives including financial, technological, resources planning, cost management and people development;
  •  Identify key risks and issues across potential strategies and support the development of risk mitigation solutions workings with other key stakeholders within Hang Seng.
Requisitos
  • University degree in a business-related discipline; actuarial or CPA related professional qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in banking/insurance/consulting
  • Details oriented with creative mindset, Self-motivated with positive attitude to work independently
  • Strong business acumen and marketing sense, with good communication, analytical and project management skills as well as sound knowledge of application software
  • Excellent ability to gather data, visualize, connect the dots and storytelling
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
