We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: Enterprise Technology L3
Principal responsibilities
- Drive initiatives related to strategic engineering excellence metrics for value stream e.g., release cadency, Lead time to deploy, MTTR, co-pilot adoption etc. & promote continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering leads, Principal engineers, Architects. Guide/help POD leads in removing technical blockers in adopting standard pipelines [pipeline excellence program], DevOps tools, automations. (test automation, performance automation, DR automations)
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in an area such as: devOps, security, accessibility, agile, production governance to POD leads/Engineering leads where needed.
- Drive adoption of GitHub Co-pilot at VSAT level, support any AI/Gen AI use cases found at VSATT level. Ensure it follows the required governance/approvals and aligns to IT controls.
- Continuously contribute to code and review other's code for best practice, ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard.
- Work with service excellence/Delivery excellence leads. helping them with engineering solutions/tools/automations to improve KCIs where possible.
- Communicate clearly, between engineering teams and senior management.
- 10+ years of programming experience - .NET/Java/Python.
- 8+ years of experience in DB programming - SQL Server/Oracle, ETL/ELT.
- 2+ years of Experience in Cloud technology – GCP/AWS. [ at least one cloud certification is desirable]
- Good understanding on ML/AI.
- Experience in CI/CD process automation & using DevOps tools e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, G3.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to guide/coach/mentor junior developers.
- Should have experience in Application production support, troubleshoot skills [Data/Application related], Incident & problem management.
