We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. 

Business: Enterprise Technology L3 

Principal responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Framework, Maven, JUnit Framework, REST ASSURED, RAML, and Web Services.
• At least 5 years of testing experience with automation testing.
• Strong expertise in Restful API design, Cucumber, playwright, BDD methodology, and Gherkin syntax.
• Experience with Tosca would be a big plus.
• Hands-on experience with API auto-testing / UI auto-testing / Unit Testing / Stress Testing.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Microservices, CI/CD, Agile practices, Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, App Dynamics, and Jira/Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in multi-cultural environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Good understanding of Global Transformation Business Transformation Frameworks, Agile methodologies and best practice techniques
• A thorough understanding of the purpose, values, culture and fundamentals of Global Transformation
• Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives
• Very strong knowledge of the compliance / regulatory / banking area knowledge.
• Business analysis, requirements gathering and design techniques
• Change management and implementation management techniques and approaches
• Proven track record as an outstanding analyst, consultant and/or project manager
• Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise in finance, stress testing , forecasting or accounting, preferably in the finance industry.
• Extensive experience gathering requirements and conducting design activity, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
• Exposure to business case development and a sound understanding of how design enablers underpin business benefits
• Strong experience of delivering change into different audiences
• Effective communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Excellent decision making and problem solving ability
• With good skills to identify and resolve problems
• Proven ability to work across regions whilst maintaining a global perspective
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and sponsors
• Strong experience to translate the business requirement into design and workout the technical specification and align with the development team.
