We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Asia Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • Participate in technical design of features with guidance.
  • Take ownership and accountability for production incidents, in terms of timely communication, escalation and incident hygiene.
  • Identify potential system improvements and explain their benefits.
  • Support the establishment of a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data
  • Continuously contribute to code, ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant Service Management Standard.
  • Keep up-to-date and have an understanding of the specific impact of the functional delivery, the business context of change and how a delivery may impact other functional areas.
  • Lead production incident reviews for the team.
Requisitos
  • At least 3+ years' proven database administration experience with Oracle, MySql, Sql & PostGres in & outside of HSBC.
  • Solid experience to lead DevOps team include databases, middleware, OS, etc.
  • Experience with database standards, solution, design and deliver.
  • Hands-on experience on database issue and problem resolving.
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience on cloud databases.
  • Hand-on experience on middle-wares.
  • Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools.
  • Familiarity with programming languages API.
  • Familiarity with Agile/DevOps approach and practices, additional credit for the experiences in DevOps tooling (e.g. JIRA, RTC, ARCAD, Jenkins, etc.).
