We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: CIB - GPS Technology
Principal responsibilities
• The role is responsible to participate in HSBCnet Quarterly major releases, Monthly Release and on-demand special implementations, such as liaise with business release management, IT operations, IT project teams to guarantee smooth and timely delivery of the software features release. (i.e. Projects on business growth, customer commitment, regulatory and service resilience)
• Require to streamline the release management and implementation process
• Demonstrates good knowledge of Release and implementation Management Framework, supporting the creation of detailed implementation plans including key activities, milestones critical path
• Develops communication and review release strategy, coordinates between stakeholders for resolutions, progress reviews, key decisions, documentation and approvals
• Manages Risks and Issues through appropriate tracking and involving key members of the programme/project team as appropriate
• A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
• At least 6+ years IT working experience
• Strong communication skills, excellent English speaking and strong business writing skills
• Strong problem solving skills in a timely manner
• Strong Release Management or Implementation Management or Project Management skill
• Strong ability to decision Making
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
• Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
• Open-minded, reliable and independent
• Knowledge of the project lifecycle (i.e.PMP certification) will be an advantage
• Experience with knowledge Java,Mainframe,MQ,API,GCP, Database, WAS, NodeJS, Linux/Unix operation system..etc will be an advantage
• Experience on Server operation, WebSphere, UNIX, API, Cloud, Database, middleware, and network knowledge will be an advantage
• Experience on banking / HSBC and understanding of how change drives benefits for HSBC, its customers and other stakeholders will be an advantage
