We’re looking for a strategic and creative leader to serve as Content Director for HSBC USA. This role will lead the development, production, and amplification of compelling content across all major formats—video, podcast, editorial, and digital. Working across all lines of business, this individual will use HSBC’s state-of-the-art studio, camera equipment, podcast studio, and integrated communications capabilities to deliver high-impact storytelling, thought leadership, and market insights for our clients, stakeholders, and employees

As our Content Director, HSBC US you will:

  • Define and own a unified U.S. content strategy across Commercial & Institutional Banking, Wealth & Personal Banking, and enterprise functions
  • Serve as a central partner to communications, marketing, digital, and business leadership teams to align content with HSBC’s narrative and strategic objectives
  • Develop an editorial calendar that aligns with business milestones, campaigns, and cultural/market moments
  • Film and edit video and audio content leveraging Adobe Premiere software
  • Attend client and thought leadership events to capture content that can be leveraged across HSBC channels
  • Leverage HSBC social media, web platform or broader external/internal channels to promote content
  • Oversee end-to-end content production: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and measurement
  • Lead content across multimedia formats—executive interviews, client insights, research explainers, social-first campaigns, and more
  • Manage internal studio resources, as well as external vendors and agencies for scalable execution
  • Produce original thought leadership in collaboration with executives, economists, strategists, and bankers

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $100,000.00 and $120,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requisitos

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • 5-8+ years in content leadership roles, ideally in financial services, media, or technology
  • Demonstrated success creating impactful, multi-format content aligned to business goals
  • Strong editorial judgment and storytelling instincts, with ability to translate complex ideas into accessible narratives
  • Experience managing internal studios and leading production across video, audio, and digital
  • Excellent stakeholder management in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Deep understanding of compliance and content governance in a regulated environment
  • Passion for content that drives reputation, brand trust, and client relevance
