We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior consultant specialist
In this role, you will:
- Designing and developing data models: Creating logical and physical data models that reflect business requirements and data architecture principles.
- Collaborating with stakeholders: Gathering data requirements from various teams and translating them into actionable data modelling strategies.
- Optimizing data models: Ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of data access.
- Data profiling and analysis: Conducting data profiling and analysis to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the modelling process.
- Maintaining data dictionaries and metadata: Creating and maintaining data dictionaries and metadata repositories to ensure consistency and integrity of data models.
- Translating models into physical implementations: Working with Data Engineers to implement data models on the data platform.
- Using data modelling tools: Utilizing appropriate tools and techniques for data modelling
- Field questions and challenges on the requirements from the business supported. Coordinate and agree execution schedules between business process owners and Data Analytics Org (DAO)
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data governance and security standards.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Modeler, IT Analyst, or similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of the Credit & Lending domain.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus, meeting aggressive timeframes with quality results.
- Knowledge of data management and data controls.
The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:
- Maintaining data dictionaries and metadata: Creating and maintaining data dictionaries and metadata repositories to ensure consistency and integrity of data models.
- Good understanding of the Credit & Lending domain.
