We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Analyst - Risk & Credit Control Operations Analytics

Role Purpose:

Provide support and analytical expertise to our main functions in Risk & Credit Control (Credit Bureau, Global Collections, Disputes, Fraud) and any other business function that requires analytical support. 
In a nuthsell: 
Pull data from Warehouses stored in SAS Servers / GCP / Hive using Python, SAS, SQL
Analize data, sometimes structured data from Warehouse and others raw data from other parties
Interpret results to obtaing valuable and actionable insights for business
Provide a summary (story-telling) in a clear and compelling manner

Main Activities:

Provide critical analytical support to Regional Operations Analytics - Risk & Credit Control, rapidly responding to daily business data-challenges. Main activities are divided in 2 categories:BAU and Adhoc Analysis.

BAU - "Business-As-Usual" 
1. Drive operational excellence executing and automating regulatory compliance reporting “Business-As-Usual” (BAU) activities, sometimes SAS or Python.
2. Refactor SAS Legacy Code into Python Code
3. Create from scratch bau reporting processes using Python on-demand of business. 

Adhoc Analysis
1. Conduct in-depth and end-to-end data analysis to answer complex business questions, beyond Risk & Credit Control domain, delivering actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and decision-making using SAS, SQL, Python.
2. Communicate results to audience

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economy, Management with expertise in Data Science / Data Analyst / Business Research in fields: Banking, Credit, Risk, Financial Institutions
Advance english (written and oral) -- no certifications (C1, B2), english level will be assessed during interviews as the whole process is in english.
Proven experience in Python (intermediate level ) for Data Manipulation, Data Automation, Data Cleaning
Proven experience in SQL (intermediate level ) to write complex queries, filtering, grouping, joins
Proven experience in Exceln (advance level) to clean data, manipulate data (pivots) and sometimes write macros in VBA
* Previous experience in Banking / Financial Institutions is a plus.
* Exposure to Data Warehouses is a plus.
* Exposure to GCP / Hive is a plus.
