We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of  Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Develop software to integrate with numerous internal back end systems
  • Develop scripts to automate infrastructure build
  • Deploy updates and fixes and provide technical support
  • Support and develop CI-CD pipelines
  • Build tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer experience
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously assessing vulnerability and adhering to HSBC controls
Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role within an agile delivery environment.
  • Experience designing and building highly scalable and resilient platforms and applications.
  • Experience working with third party cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud and GCP.
  • Experience working with virtualization, automation and scheduling technologies, such as Jenkins; Terraform; Ansible Tower; Puppet; Control-M; GIT.
  • Experience working with Containerization technologies like Docker (to build images) along with Container Orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (to deploy images)
  • Experience working with Container Security technologies like Aquasec
  • Knowledge of Python, MSSQL, MongoDB, IP networking and Linux will be an advantage.
  • Experience working within an enterprise scale organisation; including hands-on experience of complex data centre environments, preferably in the finance or similarly regulated sector.
  • Experience defining and refining operational procedures, workflows and processes to support the team in consistent and high quality execution of issue monitoring and detection.
    • Automation and Orchestration driven mindset.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, team focused environment with a proven track record of delivering and completing assigned tasks as an individual and as team.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others
