Fixed Income Post Trade Platforms and Technology solves some of the most interesting and complex challenges in the financial industry to help our global business and its customers succeed. Shipping code early and often using Agile and DevOps principles is critical for us to deliver business value, with continuous improvement and learning at the centre of everything we do.

As our Developer Analyst, you will:

  • Own and manage delivery of complete feature end to end right from requirements to delivery
  • Collaborate actively with business stake holders and project managers and manage the expectations
  • Contribute towards architectural designs of Summit components time to time
  • Contribute towards improvements of DevOps standards within the team
  • Provide technical support, analyse and help to resolve the user queries raised by the business users
  • Contribute towards the improvements of the platform by reducing the technical debt in the system

What Your Day will Look Like:

  • Deal with business users and successfully eliciting detailed information from them under pressured circumstances.
  • A high degree of project responsibility. The ability to own projects and see it through from inception to close
  • Increase capability and knowledge of the team on Finastra Summit and FIS RIMS
  • Responsible for production delivery by becoming the effective bridge between different IT Development, change management and business stakeholders
  • Identifies problems and help implementing technical solutions to fix them
  • Ability to understand challenges and deliver on the application upgrade
  • Provide BAU support
  • Should work within defined timelines and meet quality goals
  • Closely monitor EOD batches and co-ordinate with vendor actively
  • Understand user queries/issues, analyse it and provide resolution
  • Incident Handling, Management and Resolution
  • Collaborate with wider global teams and communicate seamlessly with IT and Business/Ops stakeholders
Requisitos

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

  • Understanding of Trade Straight Through Processing (STP) (e.g., Trade Lifecycle, Settlement, Flow) & Capital Markets
  • Broad knowledge of core modules e.g., Bonds, Repos, Customer, Market Data, etc.
  • Strong technical skills on C++, Basic Java
  • Hands-on SQL, PL/SQL, Unix commands
  • Batch Scripting & Control-M
  • DevOps Tooling
  • Autonomous, self-motivated and excellent team player
  • Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management

Skills preferred, but not mandatory:

  • Finastra Summit Application / FIS RIMS Application
  • Back Office Operations (Accounting, Settlement, Confirmations)
  • SWIFT messaging Framework
  • Understanding of Cash Products like Bonds and Repos.
  • The candidate is an excellent communicator and is comfortable communicating
