Digital Business Services (DBS)

Our GCIO organisation plays a critical role for the bank. This team partners with the businesses to build the platforms, systems, and products that our customers use every day. We keep people’s money and data safe, and are at the forefront of driving innovation for our businesses, customers, and colleagues.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

We’re looking for a seasoned Digital Product Manager (CIB) to lead end-to-end delivery of cutting-edge fintech products across commercial banking, payments, and trade finance. Reporting to Head of GBA & Regulatory Engagement in HBCN, in this role, you’ll craft the product vision, drive cross-functional execution, and scale digital solutions that reshape corporate banking. You will be the catalyst for innovation as well — partnering and coordinating with fintechs, payment networks, and trade platforms to come out innovative solutions for enabling business growth.

In this role, you will:

·       Strategic Digital Product Leadership: Define and execute digital product strategy and roadmap for corporate banking, payments, and trade finance—aligned with business goals, compliance, and risk policies. Monitor industry trends (e.g., real time rails, SWIFT/ISO20022 updates, blockchain innovation) to drive product differentiation.

·       Digital Product Lifecycle Management: Lead product development from ideation to launch and continuous optimization. Oversee digital customer experience, cross-functional execution, user acceptance, and KPI performance measurement, and continuous optimization.

·       Innovation & Partnerships: Design fintech-first solutions (e.g. digital wallets, CBDCs, programmable payments, AI-driven trade tools). Identify, onboard, and co-create with fintech partners, payment schemes, and trade platforms.

·       Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Collaborate with business, technology, operations, compliance, and risk teams. Drive stakeholder alignment in global, matrixed environments.

·       Customer Focus and Support: Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback and drive continuous product improvements to meet evolving customer needs.

·       Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and standards, client needs analysis, and competitor scanning in corporate banking, payments, and trade finance to uncover opportunities.

·       Define digital product requirements—user stories, UX flows, acceptance criteria, user feedback loop mechanism, continuous optimization—and manage backlog using Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).

·       Develop and oversee MVPs, pilots, and full product rollouts; iterate the product/prototype based on KPI tracking and continuous optimization (e.g., transaction volumes, adoption, retention).

·       Forge and manage partnerships with banks, industry, fintechs, payment networks, and global trade platforms to drive product adoption and expansion.

·       Enable go-to-market efforts: support sales teams with product demos, training, go-to-market support and collateral.
