We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Director Implementation.

The purpose of the role is to lead the Operating Model build & roll out of Aladdin Investment Operations, supporting Asset servicing, ETD/OTC MO operations, Reconciliations & Cash publication. The Operating model requires building team/workflow to support on complex trade capture, data enrichment, life cycle events management as well as control to ensure trade capture completeness, correctness and timeliness, provide governance & oversight. The role holder is expected to support implementation and execution of Aladdin operating model, for day-to-day operations of the Middle Office function and is accountable to the team performance against major key risk indicators (KRIs). The role holder is also expected to contribute to the implementation and execution of our Middle Office front-to-back strategy to support our growth and transformation agenda.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Works with Product & Client onboarding for roll out of Aladdin Investment operations model for key clients.
  • Leads the implementation of Aladdin Investment operations build out, and provides senior management oversight on its day-to-day operations
  • Acts as the control owner and holds accountability on teams’ performance against major KRIs
  • Manages escalations and feedbacks from Onboarding, Product, Client Servicing and other support functions
  • Partners with the Global Head of SSV Operations to establish a robust and effective control framework
  • Collaborates with other downstream operational functions/Product teams supporting Middle Office to ensure a holistic business-align focus
  • Ensures compliance to the relevant regulation and timely escalate concerns or breaches when applicable to the respective second line of defence.
  • Contributes to the implementation and execution of the EQD front-to back strategy to support our growth and transformation agenda.

Requisitos

Technical Capabilities:

  • Strong product knowledge and throughout understanding on Investment/Middle Office Operations.
  • Sharp business and commercial acumen with strong analytical skill and critical thinking
  • Ability to identify, manage and mitigate risk effectively; solid understanding on the regulatory landscape applicable to derivatives products
  • Strong communication skill and ability to connect various business stakeholder groups
  • Excellent leader who exhibits robust judgment, decision making and is resilient to change
  • Strong problem solving capability, able to multi-task well under pressure and in times of ambiguity.
  • Preferably experience or Knowledge of Aladdin

Critical Experience:

  • Experience in running Middle Office / trade support function with international financial institutions. 
  • Proven ability in managing and coordinating geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong track record of successfully implementing large scale change programmes.
  • Good project/transition management experience would be preferred
  • Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in clear language
  • Experience in working with a wider group of stakeholders including front office, product control and technology
  • Experience in managing conversion with regulators, vendors and other external stakeholders
  • Exposure on digital banking and financial innovation would be a plus
