We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Product Development
In this role, you will:
Own the end-to-end site general ledger migration to FTP Tech activities to meet the business outcomes for Ledger Strategy Programme
Coordinate across the FTP pods so that they understand the general ledger migration demand from the Ledger Strategy Programme, analyse the requirements and formulate the required end-to-end FTP changes, with the FTP pods commit to their delivery plan.
Project-manage the end-to-end site general ledger migration to FTP Tech delivery and ensure the outcomes meet the overall Ledger Strategy Programme plan
Update status proactively to stakeholders in Technology, Finance, and Ledger Strategy Programme so that necessary actions can be taken timely to keep the delivery on track
Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives
Accountable for ensuring that all activities performed by Teams adhere to the relevant HSBC Standards
Work with ITSOs to ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered
Influence and negotiate across all levels inside HSBC and with external third parties
Build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with business heads, senior managers, third party consultants, etc.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Good understanding of the FTP application
Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication skills and team player
Knowledge and experience for End to End delivery with widely successful software delivery techniques
Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing practices
Business knowledge of accounting (Ledger) and Financial reporting
