We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Analyst

Principal responsibilities

  • Production of internal programme reporting and analysis to the Finance Transformation Leadership.
  • Production of regular structured financial reporting to HSBC Group Finance
  • Reporting of consolidated cost exposure of Finance Transformation.
  • Responsible for day to day operation of the UK cost centre, including accruals, invoice payments and recoveries
  • Production of ad hoc reporting, when required, to Transformation Leadership, Business sponsors, and all other interested parties.
  • Development of planning and reporting processes and tools to be able to provide complete transparency of all cost and headcount elements.
  • Support of vendor contracts, including liaising with Procurement and Legal functions in completion of statements of work where required.
  • Management of supplier invoice payments and reconciliation to planned supplier costs.
  • Providing headcount cost analysis across all resource types to inform regular forecasting
Requisitos
  • Excellent financial business knowledge ; Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data
  • Strong Excel (Pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint experience, (Mandatory)
  • Ability to work in a complex matrix organisation
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading and achieving results with a team. Chartered Accountant, ACCA or similar professional qualification desirable.
  • Ability to bring clarity and apply rigour and process ; Attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel (Pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint experience, (Mandatory)
  • Experience of building relationships with a variety of stakeholders including technology/ technical
  • Excellent influencing, negotiating and interpersonal skills to all levels ; Creative approach to problem solving and outcome-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities ;The ability to work with a diverse and geographically dispersed business teams
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and across countries/regions/cultures is essential. Ability and willingness to get involved in the Analysis activities and documentation.
