We are seeking a high calibre individual to join our team as Finance Manager. In this role you will have responsibility for finance related matters including financial and tax reporting of the bank.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Reporting of direct and indirect tax reporting for the bank such as income tax calculation, indirect VAT calculation and reporting in respect of withholding tax for the bank.
• Responsible for the coordination and manage the information in the Annual Financial Statements and Interim Reports.
• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and year-end financial reporting as well as operational/transactional accounting.
• Responsible for the review of the general ledger reconciliations and substantiation of balance sheet accounts for the bank.
• Assist auditors with any financial reporting requirements and queries which are raised during the audit.
• Assist senior management and other team members on key deliverables and ad hoc requests from management, regulators and other internal stakeholders.

• High analytical ability and well-developed problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, with strong organisational skills and ability to deliver on tight deadlines with accuracy and agility.
• Ability to work in a professional team and manage financial control in a complex environment.
• Strong collaboration and team working skills.
• Advanced knowledge / experience of Microsoft office applications, particularly in Excel.
•Have a recognised accountancy or equivalent qualification.
