We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Business Analyst

In this role, you will:

  • The scope of the role encompasses all technology related costs within the Global Businesses / Global Functions.
  • Primary reporting relationship to the Head of Global Technology Charges and Intercompany Controller
  • Works closely with GB/GF/Region/Function IT CIO/Heads and COOs
  • Direct reports: To be confirmed
  • Membership and role within specific governance forums: To be confirmed
  • Billing Responsibilities:
  • Manage and track the movement of charges on a monthly basis
  • Analyze the monthly charges and identify the reason for huge spike or dip
  • Present KPI and cost dashboard on a monthly basis
  • Responsible to maintain unbilled, suspense and inactive charges at a minimum level
  • Support management in onboarding of new entities and business into HiBS
  • Liaise with reference data team to get the reference data set up which is important to handle monthly billing
  • Manage stake holder calls on overview of current month charges and support on queries if any
Requisitos

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

  • The role holder will ideally have knowledge and experience in the following areas. 
  • Expertise and knowledge in relation to the Global IT Function and the services that the IT COO function provides
  • Demonstrated business knowledge, ideally experience of working within a complex global business unit
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technology development and infrastructure and how this can be used to meet business needs
  • To have held a senior leadership position, ideally within a global banking environment
  • Ideally to have both front and back office experience within a global banking environment
  • Financial and accounting acumen (Accountancy Qualifications)
  • Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
  • Experience of managing within a complex matrix environment
  • Experience working across cultures
  • Understanding of the HSBC Group and its strategy, structures and processes
  • Knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
