We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finl Ctrl - Policy and Advisory

Principal responsibilities

  • Monitor and Manage controls & assurance of s166 / GIA Issues and Actions relating to (but not limited to) Credit Risk, Market Risk, Capital & Securitisation.
  • Understanding of control effectiveness measures including Risk & Control Assessments, Key Risk Indicators, test approaches, reviews, audits and judgment based attestations.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders within 1st line of defence, 2nd line of defence and 3rd line of defence. Leverage these relationships to contribute to Assurance and Governance framework for the Action & Issue closures.
  • Good understanding of Credit Risk and Market Risk RWAs including the UK Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)
  • The role holder will also co-ordinate closely with the external auditors, and support reporting to key governance meetings with senior management.
  • Supports delivery of relevant change initiatives set and adheres to appropriate timetables for ad hoc work
  • Lead the discussion on the remediation of various s166 issues and GIA issues across the Finance function, Risk teams, and the Business Teams.Oversight of Credit Risk s166 deliverables, ensuring remediation plan commitments are agreed and robust, drive stakeholder buy-in and with resolving issues and managing blockers where required
  • Identify opportunities to integrate and optimise IRR-PRA BoW deliverables with other Finance Change Programmes Book of Work (BoW)
  • Drive consistency and synergies across accountable PRA workstreams. Drive consolidation of PRA workstream updates for Senior Management governance papers when required
  • The role also requires knowledge of and experience with a broad range of regulatory reporting

Requisitos
  • Experience of Finance and / or regulatory reporting execution and delivery
  • Good understanding of reporting processes and systems
  • Experience in the delivery of change with excellent business analysis capabilities and a track record of successfully being involved in complex change projects with cross functional impacts and dependencies
  • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills
  • Experience of large-scale projects
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of working with Risk Stewards, CCO teams, Internal and External Audit
  • Good understanding of Credit Risk and Market Risk RWAs including the UK Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)
  • Candidates possessing professional certifications like CA, CFA or FRM will be preferred.
