We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Fullstack Engineer
Role
This position will work as a member of a highly skilled, agile development team. We are building systems for Synthetic business, used by Front Office/Middle Office and Back Office across the globe and we are seeking a dedicated professional who is a team player, self-motivated, and who achieves technological excellence in short timescales.
This is an extremely hands-on, delivery-focused, technical position involving a lot of analysis, coding, testing and interfacing with business users. A good knowledge of Equities Financing is highly desirable but a thirst for knowledge and the knack to apply that knowledge is just as good to us. There will be a high degree of teamwork and technical peer interaction involved.
Responsibilities
· join an Agile pod that builds, maintains, and supports software for the Securities financing business line.
· Responsible for analysis, design, and development of highly available, scalable software components along with functional and development team
· Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing planned engineering changes as part of agile feature team.
· Recommend development best practices for application improvement and development.
· Code review based on four eye policy.
· Supporting the infrastructure and the application you worked on. It includes production support responsibilities too.
· Responsible for ensuring timely and quality delivery.
· Must be a team player, willing to share and respecting team values.
Requisitos
Mandatory Skills / Experience
o 3 to 5 years of strong hands-on software development experience predominantly on Java Platform.
· Experience in full stack development of Microservices/Application, Cloud from scratch including good exposure to database
o Extensive knowledge of Java versions 11 and up (in projects, we work on versions 17 and are upgrading to 21).
o Experience with performance tuning/optimisation (JVM)
o Continuous Integration products such as TeamCity and Jenkins
o Solid knowledge of Git version control, and workflows around
o Development of distributed systems (data-intensive applications, concurrency)
o Spring Boot/JPA
o Fluent English
o Strong Hands-on experience on Spring Framework.
· Hands on experience in TDD/BDD based testing approach.
· Good understanding of Microservices Architecture
· Good exposure to the Google Cloud Platform and DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
· Good Experience on MS-SQL/Oracle DB, Cloud-SQL, BigQuery and good understanding of PL-SQL.
· Source Code control systems specially GIT.
· Agile mindset and action oriented.
· Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Would be good if the candidate worked with Investment Banking/Security Financing[i]domain.
