We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Leadership & Mentorship:
- Lead, guide, and mentor a team of cloud engineers and developers, providing technical expertise and support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and business leaders to align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
- Review and recommend best practices, coding standards, and automation techniques for cloud-based applications.
- Cloud Architecture & Design:
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure cloud architectures on GCP.
- Develop cloud solutions leveraging key GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, etc.
- Ensure systems are highly available, cost-efficient, and resilient.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and optimize GCP resources, including networking, security, and storage.
- Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure tools such as Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and scaling.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of cloud-based solutions into existing systems.
- Provide clear and effective communication regarding technical designs and decision-making processes.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using GCP’s tools for ensuring the health and performance of cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up to date with the latest Google Cloud Platform developments and industry trends.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by researching and implementing new cloud technologies and practices.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services / components like GCE, GCS, GKE, Data Flow, Big Query, Cloud SQL, Cloud Pub-sub
- Expertise in cloud architecture design, implementation, and security.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager).
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good hands-on experience on integration architecture and implementations.
- Hand on experience on Cloud migration projects
- Programming & Automation:
- Proficient in at least one programming/scripting language (Python etc.).
- Experience with automation tools and scripting
- Leadership & Communication:
- Proven experience leading technical teams and providing mentorship.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with enterprise level architects, technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Certifications:
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or similar GCP certification (preferred).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments.
- Familiarity with GCP cost management tools to optimize cloud spending.
- Experience with GCP security tools like Cloud Identity, IAM etc.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
